Barnyard Egg Hunt

Start the weekend off right with an egg hunt on New York’s oldest continuously farmed land across 47-acres at Queen’s County Farm Museum. Egg hunts happen all day in the orchard and the farm’s mascot Whiskers the Buny will greet kids of all ages along with an assortment of other farm animals. Enjoy an egg toss and egg rolling games, or participate in a Bunny Hop or a hayride as you escape the hustle and bustle of the city without ever needing to leave.

The Amazing Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

Hosted by Pogo Events this egg hunt involves more than pastel colored plastic full of treats. Use your smarts as well as your athleticism to solve the various clues and complete the hunt before the other teams in order to win prizes including tickets to Quite Clubbing and Shake Rattle & Roll. Show off your super sleuthing skills with your friends or show up solo to be assigned to a team of fellow detectives. Both an adults-only and family friendly version of the hunt are available.

Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival

Take your Sunday best to a higher level at this festive annual parade showcasing some of the most elaborate finery of the season. An Easter tradition since the 1870’s the parade was immortalized by Irving Berlin and has continued to delight both participants and attendees for generations. From the creator of “Nightmare Haunted House” this four day carnival offers an assortment of offbeat games that culminate in an egg-hunt cage match where participants are challenged by rabbit costumed gladiators. Food trucks and an on-site bar enhance the experience for both spectators and those brave enough to participate.
