The Roosevelt Hotel’s lobby bar, Madison Club Lounge, has recently been through a minor ‘face lift’. With a new granite bar top, new lighting and fantastic new furnishings, we are excited to be up and running with a new fresh new look. What has NOT changed, is the fabulous staff. If you’ve been to the lounge before, then you certainly know the ‘Tony’s’, our wonderful mixologists who have been serving cocktails across the bar for years. Here is the recipe for one of the signature cocktails served at the Madison Club Lounge!
The Madison Club Mojito
2 oz. Bacardi rum
1 oz. Navan vanilla cognac liqueur
1 oz. fresh lime juice
Splash of club soda
8 to 10 mint leaves
In a tall mixing glass, muddle the mint leaves with the lime juice and a pinch of sugar. Add ice, and then pour Navan liqueur and rum into glass. Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds. Top off with club soda.
With a subtle layer of vanilla flavor, Navan vanilla cognac adds a hint of Madison Avenue sophistication.
