Congratulations Big Apple Star Nominees!

The Big Apple Stars Awards is an event that highlights the hard work and dedication of hotel employees within New York City. Held annually at the Jacob Javits Center, thousands of hotel associates and managers rally up and cheer as each of the close to 400 nominees walk across the stage to accept their awards from the representatives of the Hotel Association of New York City (HANYC).

We are proud to announce that five team members from The Roosevelt Hotel New York (including yours truly!) were nominated for this honor. Congratulations to these fabulous associates!

Hotel Walkathon for the Make a Wish Foundation

We are so proud that The Roosevelt Hotel associates and managers have once again, for the 5th consecutive year, won the trophy for the Highest Participation in the Annual Hotel Industry Walkathon for Charity.  Even more important, we collected the most money for this year’s charity the Make a Wish Foundation.  With over 200 walkers our significant donation will surely be very much appreciated by those in need.

This is what being in the hospitality industry means…assisting those who need assistance, working together, delivering excellent results and creating memorable moments.
