New York City Ballet Winter 2011 at Lincoln Center

For almost a half century, the New York City Ballet Company has delivered world class dance to Lincoln Center and with the Winter 2011 Season, it is offering much more than ever.  The season has already begun and will run through February 27th.  This year, the ballet company will feature performances 27 different ballets, including 12 works by George Balanchine and 5 by Jerome Robbins.  These performances include seven shows of Peter Martins’ full-length staging of Swan Lake, as well as, a new ballet by Broadway choreographer and director Susan Stroman, winner of Tony Awards for her work on Broadway shows as The Producers, Contact and Crazy for You.
