Have you been wondering what all the commotion is outside The Roosevelt Hotel New York? Well, we have been very excited to be a filming location for an exciting new film from Summit Entertainment, called “Man on a Ledge”.

Does that “ledge” look familiar? Yep, that’s us.

Directed by Asger Leth, “Man on a Ledge” has a star studded cast including Sam Worthington (Avatar), Elizabeth Banks, Anthony Mackie, Jamie Bell, Ed Harris, Edward Burns and Kyra Sedgwick .

The story follows an ex-cop and now wanted fugitive (Worthington) stands on the ledge of a NYC hotel (that’s us!) while a hard-living New York Police Department hostage negotiator (Banks) tries to talk him down. The longer they are on the ledge, the more she realizes that he might have an ulterior objective.

It’s been an exciting and fun experience to host a movie shoot here at the hotel. We all can’t wait to see the film in its final edit!
