This will be an emotional Mothers Day for me. Not only because I’m still amazed every day by my first daughter, but because I am now pregnant with my second.  Becoming a mother has been one of the most inspiring happenings in my life and I am so proud to be a part of the “mommy club”. I look forward to years of crayon colored cards, sloppy breakfasts in bed and construction paper flowers. Those are the times moms live for.

Raising a family in New York City is so perfectly ideal for special occasions such as Mother Day. Here are a few things that you can do this Sunday to celebrate the woman who has raised you and loved you since forever ago.

They came back to us for the big 50th anniversary and we are now looking forward to having Ruth and Herbert stay with us once again for their 55th anniversary!

Congratulations Rith and Herbert on your upcoming anniversary!  We are proud to consider you part of The Roosevet

Bike Month NYC is the annual celebration of bicycling in New York City. Each year the Department of Transportation and Transportation Alternatives team up to bring you Bike Month NYC, a city wide campaign to promote the joys of cycling in New York City.

In honor of Bike Month, I thought I would list some of my favorite places to bike here in the city!

ACROSS THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE
Love this ride! It’s one of my favorite views on the Big Apple. When on the Brooklyn side, be sure to stop in at Grimaldi’s Pizza for the PERFECT slice. Take a moment to hop off your two wheels and take in the amazing views of Lower Manhattan, Governors Island, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty.
