This spring the New York City Ballet will feature seven world premier ballets featuring four commissioned musical scores along with a collaboration with award-winning architect Santiago Calatrava.
The official opening of the Spring season began with a gala on April 29th and will continue through Sunday June 27th. The season boasts an impressive 40 original performances, 29 of which are choreographed by NYCB’s Founding Choreographers George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins.
