Yankees fans are walking proud today as the Bronx Bombers won victoriously over the Phillies last night in Game 6 of the 2009 World Series.
New York City will host a ticker-tape parade and ceremony in honor of the World Series champion New York Yankees tomorrow, Friday November 5th.
The parade will begin on Broadway at Battery Place at 11 a.m. and continue northbound up the Canyon of Heroes to City Hall Plaza where Mayor Michael Bloomberg will present the Bronx Bombers with the keys to the city. Bloomberg promises it to be the largest-ever parade.
