The New York Film Festival (NYFF) has already started this week (on September 25th ) and will continue through October 11th. The NYFF showcases the inspiring cinematic works from directors and artists from around the world. Although it’s smaller than other festivals, this 17 day event selects an average of 28 feature films and 12 short films each year. One of the special showcases is within the section Views from the Avant-Garde. These features premiere non-narrative, experimental film and video.
