Opened on September 22, 1924, The Roosevelt Hotel offered exquisite accommodations and phenomenal service to the 1100 guestrooms. The first glimpse into the heart of The Roosevelt Hotel was (and still is) the elegant and spacious lobby with varying levels of public space and, at that time, a passageway directly to Grand Central Station.
The Grand Ballroom was designed with romance in mind with high ceilings, balconies, original Tiffany chandeliers and a mural by Arthur Crisp with the Cinderella story as its theme. The timeless design is the perfect backdrop for any event from a wartime ship dance in 1920′s to a modern day wedding.
History lives at The Roosevelt Hotel. Take a trip back in time and look through these vintage photographs of the hotel.
