The Point Foundation is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students of merit. On April 27th, the Point Foundation hosted their annual New York benefit right here at The Roosevelt Hotel New York.

The Point Foundation presented “Ugly Betty” creator Silvio Horta with the Point Courage Award, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) received the Point Inspiration Award, and playwright, librettist and director Arthur Laurents was presented with the inaugural Point Legend Award.

The evening’s festivities were hosted by ALL MY CHILDREN’s Susan Lucci and Cameron Mathison with a performance by Vanessa Williams. Other celebrities in attendance were Judith Light and Jorge Valencia, Angela Lansbury and a few of “The Real Housewives of New York City” including Countess LuAnn de Lesseps.
